Iran movie ‘Take Off’ to be screened at France Cannes Film Market

Iranian movie ‘Take Off’ directed by Ehsan Abdipour is slated to participate at the latest edition of Cannes Film Market.

Produced by Tahoora Abolghasemi, ‘Take Off’ will be screened at the film market of the Cannes Film Festival 2017.

The Iranian film follows the story of a young man, Shirzad, who returns home after living at sea for some years. His life takes an unexpected twist in the following events.

‘Take Off’ features Iranian artists such as Mostafa Zamani, Reza Yazdani and Hamzeh Moghadam.

The film will go on the market’s screen for cinema professionals, producers, and agents, among others.

More than 12,000 professionals, including 3,200 producers, 1,200 sale agents, 1,750 buyers and 800 festival organizers, will come together at this year’s market.

The market is the business counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival with latest edition of the later slated for May 17-28 in the French city of Cannes.
